By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - William Dathan Holbert, the notorious “Wild Bill” serial killer who has confessed to having murdered five people in Panama and one in Costa Rica, has access to communications technology in prison allowing him to communicate with practically anyone he wants, any time he wants. According to my source – a high school friend who has been in frequent contact with Holbert’s family members in North Carolina – Holbert has a Blackberry cellular phone in prison with access to the data and the Internet. Holbert can surf the Internet using his cell phone with data access. Holbert can send and receive email. Holbert supposedly even has a printer/fax machine combination unit, and he can use it to send faxes through the cell phone. Holbert uses these means of communication to remain in extremely close contact with his mother – Karen Yvonne Moore – back in North Carolina. And that’s not all. Laura Michelle Reese also has a cell phone of her own in the Women’s prison in Panama City, and both Holbert and Reese can call one another at will to discuss and coordinate their legal defense strategy.

Translation of this cell phone text message.
“Reply from the director of the prison system for Lee Z. ”From a person like this gentleman can not point to any truth or falsehood in his words, but we can assure of q does not have privileges in his cell, I have personally made sure of this, and gave him access to the press to corroborate.”
