Writing about lodging in Boquete is difficult for me since I live here and never stay in a hotel or motel. This is an effort to introduce those places that I know, I welcome email or comments about other resources. I also recommend Trip Advisor, that is what we use when we travel.
There are several low cost hostels in Boquete but I need information on them before I can add them to this list.
Isla Verde: I have never stayed in Isla Verde but I have had many visitors who have enjoyed their time there. Isla Verde is located in the center of the town and does not require a car or taxi to access stores and restaurants. The owner, Eva is German and multilingual as well as being a charming person. Highly recommended.
Panamonte Hotel: The grande Dame of Boquete hotels is the Panamonte. I have enjoyed, food and drink there but never spent a night. The hotel is very popular with visiting Panamanians and is well located within walking distance of the town.
Hotel Valle del Rio: Located near the entrance of Valle Escondido the Valle del Rio opened in May 2008 and is a beautiful place to stay. It has free wifi and decent restaurants. It is within walking distance of the town.
Boquete Garden Inn. This beautiful location is the first place I ever stayed in Boquete. In the four years since I stayed there the gardens have grown, the birds have moved in and the owners have changed. It is now more beautiful than before and the warmth of staff and owners makes this location well worth a visit.
El Oasis. El Oasis is on the Jaramillo side of the Feria Bridge and is one of the top hotels with an excellent restaurant. It is also a good choice for a longterm stay. They will negotiate prices for long term commitments.
Casa Romero Small and personal and just off the main road outside of town.
