I have been doing a series of polls to provide readers and me some sense of those who live here in Panama. Started coming to Panama in 2004 once or twice a year, up to 6 months in duration. Do not have any intention of buying property in Panama. I have sold my TX home and plan to spend part of each year in both places as long as health permits, The health issue will be the overriding issue for me.
Moved to Panama’ almost 10 years ago, rented in 4 different towns. It is very expensive, time consuming & stressful to build or renovate in this country. Equally difficult to sell property if one should decide to move back to the States.
