My son decided to get married and decided that instead of doing it in Tucson Arizona he and his wife to be brought thirty of his closest friends came to Boquete Panama to wed in the hills. We had a lot of local support making it happen and I want to share the experience and publicly thank some people for their help.
Airport pickups for the first group of visitors were done by Stuart at Panama Travel Unlimited. Then I rented a van from Steve at Value Motors. The original van was too small so Steve did a last minute upgrade to a Toyota Hiace so I could haul twelve people and luggage. Off to Panama City to collect people, tour Casco Viejo, the causeway and the Canal and then with a loaded van back to Boquete.
We had a dinner for thirty five at the Bistro Boquete and Craig did a a fabulous job with a special menu for the group. He earned an received and ovation of applause from everyone.

The following day we had the wedding at Finca Luz. Elizabeth and Dianne and their staff did a fabulous job. They were able to accommodate a group of more than forty people with excellent food, service and created a magical atmosphere for a wonderful wedding.

People from Panama the US and Mexico all joined together in our rain forest and enjoyed the entire encompassing experience.
Sadly the event culminated in me needing a trip to the hospital, more on that experience tomorrow.

congrats to the son! Hope you’re okay…. what happened??
