The day after independence day in Boquete
Posted by Lee on November 29, 2007
No parade pictures this year, I decided to avoid the crowds and stay on the hill. We did venture down this morning and avoided the street cleaning by trying a new restaurant.
La Crepe is located between the Zanzibar and the Iguana gift shop as you head from Boquete toward the north. It caught Jennifer’s eye because the the bright colors and smell of coffee. La crepe is both a restaurant and art gallery and our first stop was to look at some paintings. This pantano water color is no longer in the gallery; it has been assimilated
The menu is as expected crepes, savory and sweet. This is the savory selection.
Crepes are real, not frozen and reheated.
Daniele is a charming hostess and brings her French tradition to Boquete in style.
Jennifer enjoyed her curry crepe, I tried the Parisienne and must agree it was very good.
We will return and write more but for now I would recommend that if you are ready for a savory or sweet change of pace in Boquete try La Crepe.

Please, from Miami, I would like to know if anyone would have the EMAIL address of Jean Marie, owner of Art Cafe La Crepe Restaurant, in Boquete – Panama. He’s a good friend of mine for ages, we lost contact 12 years ago while I was in S.Francisco. By the way my name is Jean Pierre, from Miami, Fla.
Thanks everyone….
Jean Pierre
