Boquete.ning.com a new community

I created the Boquete Panama community Sunday speculating that Boquete was ready for a real social networking site. With the help of the boquete.org list server the word has gone out and people, organizations and businesses are becoming involved.

The new Boquete Community will be a great place to meet people, learn about the community find that niche that is right for you. I am happy to say that we as a group are much more interesting than Jennifer and I so please get involved and create and use your own cyber community.

Hi to all, my husband John and I are considering Panama as a place to retire. We are currently visiting the area and have met some very nice expats who have been so helpful in giving us information. The website here was recommended. So I am jumping on board here to get as much information and feedback as I can.
We currently live in California and as you all know the cost is crazy. John is retired and I am currently still working but looking to retire in the next year or 2. I will be checking out the posts and will add my queries as I come up with them.

    talk to you soon, Margo

    Hello good folks of Boquete,

With the jazz/blues fest coming up on March 4, I´d like to know if anyone would be interested in creating a Blues Dance lesson/workshop before the fest so that we can practice and enjoy a fun and easy new dancing style during the fest. My friend Rachael is an instructor of Blues Dancing and if enough people are interested, maybe we can get her to come to Boquete for some dancing lessons and a lot of fun!
So what is Blues Dancing? It is a couples dance that matches the slow sultry music of the Blues. It can be anything that you want it to be! It adapts to jazz easity. If anyone is interested, the best way for me to know is if you email me at pandadog55@yahoo.com.
    Happy Feet,
Jeff Brown (a future resident of Boquete)

  11. When we arrived recently at the airport in P.C. from the U.S. we asked about the free 30 day heathcare, we were told it was discontinued. It was for the time period when Panama had water issues. Just FYI.

I spent much of last summer in Boquete. I felt at home right away. The Panamanians are the most wonderful people and of course the town is filled with Ex-Pats. I really believe Boquete will fill your heart with joy.
I will be moving to Boquete as soon as I sell my riverfront condo in New Braunfels, Tx.
I can’t wait to be back.
