Experience Boquete Today!

Lee, great write up! It comes from your personal point of view but it captures most of the essence of what Boquete has to offer from a tourist point of view.

Your marketing piece is pretty in sync with the view that the Tourism Committee of Boquete, Panama has about Boquete as a tourist destination. Here's the committee's vision synthesized in one paragraph:

Boquete is Panama’s eco-adventure capital... for all ages. Experience unspoiled nature and wildlife, hundreds of birds and beautiful hiking trails in our National Parks, award winning coffee, world class whitewater adventures, thrilling zip-lining tours, relaxing hot springs and scenic horseback riding tours. With its modern city infrastructure and small town charm, Boquete is the perfect headquarters to explore the Province of Chiriqui—white sand beaches and turquoise waters are only a 1.5-hour drive away. Return in the evening to Boquete’s fresh mountain air and water, breathtaking views, welcoming accommodations and great restaurants.

Boquete – your natural choice... Experience Boquete Today!

And don't forget the birds! As a birder this is one of the main reasons we chose to retire in Panama. Our house list is currently over 110 species including 16 of which are hummingbirds. A simple treck down the back streets or woods bring forth an abundance of wildlife for your viewing pleasure. Some may have heard of the Christmas Bird Count....well Panama holds the world record for the most species counted in a day.

Bob, why so negative?
Although I would probably never ever have a chance to visit it, it sounds ok to me.
It looks like you have not understood it?
You were unhappy?
If so please do not even answer/comment on Lee's info and go ahead with your life.
I am born in South Africa and live in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and yes I do envy Lee, he seems to feel ok and lives the life he wants.
If I made typo's please Lee get rid of them.
I do speak a couple of languages and my age makes 7 languages to deal with sometimes complicated.
