As a birder this is one of the main reasons we chose to retire in Panama. Our house list is currently over 110 species including 16 of which are hummingbirds. A simple treck down the back streets or woods bring forth an abundance of wildlife for your viewing pleasure. Some may have heard of the Christmas Bird Count....well Panama holds the world record for the most species counted in a day. Later, J And don’t forget the birds! As a birder this is one of the main reasons we chose to retire in Panama. Our house list is currently over 110 species including 16 of which are hummingbirds.
